About Me
I was born overseas, grew up in Alabama, and lived in Southern California for 10 years before moving to Nashville. I was on Young Life staff for 8 years before becoming a therapist and have always loved being with and understanding people more fully. I am a wife and mom to 2 boys, roles that have stretched me more than I ever thought possible.
I believe therapy is sacred and important work. I know this because I've experienced it as a client myself. I know how hard it is to make the first contact to a therapist, wondering what it will be like, sometimes wanting to avoid the hard places, but also knowing and experiencing the goodness that comes from taking risks to be seen.

My Approach
I am a Marriage and Family therapist so I conceptualize through the lens of relationships and systems and how those impact individuals. I approach people with compassion and curiosity, knowing that every person’s story is unique. My therapeutic approach is attachment based, emotionally focused, and viewed through an Internal Family Systems model. I am also EMDR Trained.
