FAQs

How much does it cost?

$135 per session- 50 minutes

I do provide a number of spots for those who may need a sliding scale fee.  Feel free to contact me if this applies to you.

Do you take insurance?

Although I do not accept insurance, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may want to check with your provider about out-of-network coverage for mental health services.

How can I set up an appointment?

Click on the “Contact” tab at the top of your screen.  Fill out the form and I will email you back within 48 hours to find a time for us to meet.

What if I don't think you are a good fit for me?

This isn’t a frequently asked question, but I know it is a frequently “thought” question.  And it is absolutely ok. Therapy works best if you feel comfortable with your therapist. So, come for a session or 2 and see if we fit. If we don’t, I can give you referrals for other therapists to try.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
